Leading the way with solar technology…
ACM’s head office in Waltham Abbey - ECO House - is now drawing it’s energy from Solar panels installed on the roof of the building.

The 40kW solar array was installed in January 2011, and is now contributing significantly towards the company’s electricity consumption. Any surplus energy generated by the panels is automatically sold into the National Grid. This investment of over £120k generates an ongoing guaranteed return from the Governments FiT Scheme (Feed In Tariff).
Unlike fossil fuels which damage our environment, renewable energy sources such as Solar are generally unlimited and have a virtually zero carbon footprint. The earth receives more energy from the sun in just one hour that the world uses in a whole year, and ACM’s Solar Technology can help ensure that this valuable resource does not go to waste.
Domestic solar installations have become increasingly common over recent years, and there are already a few “Solar Farms” across the country. However, the significance of ACM’s installation is that it is one of the first commercial installations in the UK.
This leads the way for other similar installations for medium-to-large businesses to benefit, like ACM, from an environmentally friendly resource, providing free electricity and attracting further financial reward from the FiT scheme.
Furthermore, ACM can provide and commission solar arrays to its clients in most cases without any capital outlay whatsoever!
It really is a win-win situation, and with ACM leading the way, your business could also take the steps needed to ‘knock out’ Fossil Fuels. For more information visit our Solar Technology pages or Contact Us.
