AfOR Recycling Award Nomination

ACM Environmental PLC’s work with Warwickshire’s Nailcote Hall Hotel has been recognised with a coveted Finalists place at the Association for Organics Recycling (AfOR) Awards.
At the highly renowned Jacobean 4-Star Hotel, where ACM had already introduced a range of proven recycling systems, we recently installed a Biomass food waste digestion system. Nailcote’s kitchen staff can now tip organic food waste straight into the biodigester, which rapidly breaks it all down into a nutrient-rich material. This is then fed into a biomass boiler to provide heating for the hotel’s swimming pool and several ancillary buildings, meaning that Nailcote Hall will be saving around £6,000 per annum on their fuel bills alone.
This innovative and joined-up environmental solution was praised by AfOR’s Awards judges for providing such a sound on-site recycling/renewable energy solution.
ACM’s growing prevalence in the field of Biomass technology and Energy from Waste is great news for businesses who also want to enjoy the significant environmental and financial benefits that Nailcote Hall Hotel are now benefitting from.
