ACM win coveted environmental award
ACM Environmental PLC, leading specialists in waste, recycling and waste to energy technology, were delighted to win a prestigious Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice at a ceremony held at the House of Commons on Monday 14th November 2011.
ACM won this coveted award in the Paper and Packaging category with their customer, D S Smith Packaging, Belper, in recognition of the environmental improvements resulting from the installation of a high performance waste compactor.
The Green Apple Awards is an annual campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.
Barry Bolton, Chairman of ACM Plc said of the award “This is a most welcome accolade. The work we have done with DS Smith Packaging is just one of a number of initiatives aimed at helping our customers take the Greener Path to low carbon growth, improving business profits and creating a better world for all”.
